What You'll See

Crystal Trees: one per repository, height = commit count Glowing Orbs: commits along the trunk Flames: contributors floating on the bead sea Bead Sea: the infinite glass ocean of Shadesmar

Inspiration

Inspired by Shadesmar from Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive: a cognitive realm where ideas take physical form. Your repositories become crystal trees, collaborators become flames, and the bead sea stretches to infinity.

Shadesmar

A 3D visualization of GitHub repositories, inspired by the Cognitive Realm (Shadesmar) from Brandon Sanderson's Stormlight Archive.

What Everything Represents

Crystal Trees: each tree is a repository. Taller trees have more commits.
Glowing Orbs: commit orbs along the trunk, brighter = more recent activity.
Flames: contributor flames floating on the bead sea. Each flame is a person who contributed to your repos.
Bead Sea: the ocean of glass beads surrounding the island, as described in the Stormlight Archive.
Obsidian Island: the dark landmass where your repositories grow.

Interactions

Click a tree to focus on it and see repo details in the side panel.

Click a contributor flame to highlight its linked tree in a warm amber glow.

Hover over trees or flames to see names.

Drag to orbit, scroll to zoom.

Motivation

In the Stormlight Archive, Shadesmar is a realm where every object in the physical world has a reflection: ideas become real, and significance gives things presence. This visualizer reimagines your GitHub profile as a Shadesmar island: your code becomes crystal trees, your collaborators become flames, and the bead sea stretches to infinity.
